The mighty Holland Heffalumps bested the Aarlington Aardvarks by a 5 to 2
score at Aarlington Field.
Holland scored the deciding run in the top of the 8th inning. After an out
was recorded, Mitch Haniger drew a walk. David Peralta next to the plate and
he drew a walk. Mookie Betts then drew a walk to load the bases. Randy
Arozarena followed and he reached on an error scoring the run. Aarlington
was retired without difficulty in the bottom of the 9th.
The victory was credited to Connor Overton(3-3) who went 2 and 2/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Jose Alvarado gained credit for his 4th save. The loss was
charged to David Phelps(0-4) in relief.
