German Marquez(15-6) and Daniel Lynch(3-6) treated the Chicago fans to a fine
pitching duel at West Side Park. The Chicago Whales eventually emerged as
victors over the awful Burbank Tigers by the score of 3 to 0.
Chicago went ahead for good in the 2nd inning plating an isolated run. After
two were out Kyle Tucker hit a bases-empty home run. That scoring would be
all that was needed. Chicago finished with just 5 hits in the victory.
Marquez got relief help from Enyel De Los Santos who gained credit for his 1st
save.
