Rafael Devers blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI at Edsel Stadium where the
impressive Woodfield Roadkyll beat the Gotham Gold Gloves by the score of 3
to 2.
The game was won by Woodfield with a run in the 9th inning. After an out was
recorded, Enrique Hernandez was hit by a pitch. Josh Bell came to the plate
and laced a single. Devers then hit a deep fly scoring the run. The Gotham
batters didn't put up a fight in the bottom of the 9th.
The win went to Edwin Diaz(4-1) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Adrian
Sampson(6-5) was tagged with the loss in relief. He pitched 2 innings giving
up 1 hit and no walks.
It was another victory for Woodfield at Edsel Stadium. Now their winning
streak stands at 6 games.
