Left fielder David Peralta slammed a homerun and had 2 RBI at Comerica Park as
the Holland Heffalumps beat the Hollywood Marines 4 to 3.
Holland brought 2 runs across the plate in the 6th inning when they came up
with 3 base hits. The big moment was provided by Brandon Lowe who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he clubbed a two-run home run.
Hollywood made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the
needed runs across.
The winning pitcher was Ron Marinaccio(2-4) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3
innings. Connor Overton recorded his 1st save. The losing pitcher was
Domingo German(4-5).
It was another victory for Holland at Comerica Park. Now their winning streak
stands at 6 games. Steve Seydell was in a talkative mood after the ballgame.
