Left fielder Daulton Varsho rocketed 2 homeruns at Englefield Green as the
Woodfield Roadkyll belted the Aarlington Aardvarks by the count of 16 to
1.
Varsho provided much of the offense. He lifted one out of the park for a two
run home run in the 3rd inning and brought the hometown folks to their feet
with a Grand Slammer in the 7th inning. Woodfield lit up the scoreboard in
the 4th inning when they had 4 runs on 3 hits and the 7th inning which saw
them score 6 runs on 5 hits. Woodfield ended up with 17 hits for the game
while Aarlington had 4.
The victory went to Julio Urias(12-3) who went 5 innings, allowing 1 run. J.T.
Brubaker(6-12) ended up with the loss. He was unable to control the
Woodfield offense and allowed 8 hits and 4 walks in 3 innings.
