At Comerica Park, the Hollywood faithful were treated to an intriguing
pitcher's duel. Luis Garcia(6-8) finally bested his Hollywood counterpart,
Dean Kremer(7-8), by the score of 3 to 1.
Oakland had 2 runs cross the plate in the 6th inning when they came up with 4
base hits. It was enough to earn the victory. Oakland and Hollywood each
finished the night with 6 hits.
Garcia got relief help from Jordan Romano who gained credit for his 15th save.
Kremer was hit with the loss. 'It's been a rough ride lately, but this was
a good win for us' said Joe Ingraffia, 'Maybe this will put us back on
track.'
