First baseman Eric Hosmer had 4 hits and 3 RBI at Jurassic Park where the
Dyersville Jurassics beat the Gotham Gold Gloves by the score of 12 to
10.
Alex Lange(2-2) did a nice job in relief and was credited with the win. He
didn't give up much, just 1 hit and no walks in 1 and 1/3 innings and mowed
down 4 Gotham batters. Dyersville bats were hot in the 3rd inning which saw
them score 5 runs on 6 hits. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 5
different innings was still not enough for Gotham to come away with the
victory.
Daniel Bard earned his 27th save. Cole Irvin(5-11) was tagged with the loss.
He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.
