Left fielder David Peralta slammed a homerun as the Holland Heffalumps
defeated the Caracas Leones by a score of 7 to 3 at The Heffadrome.
Holland had 6 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 5th inning when they
had 5 base hits. The critical plate appearance was by Brandon Lowe who
brought a roar from the partisan The Heffadrome fans when he electrified the
crowd with a Grand Slam home run. Caracas was out-hit by Holland, 11 hits to
5.
The win was credited to Tyler Anderson(11-4) who went 6 innings allowing 3
runs. The losing pitcher was Kyle Wright(9-6). He allowed a few too many
