Right fielder Victor Reyes went yard and had 3 RBI as the Tampico Stogies
defeated the Burbank Tigers by a score of 5 to 4 at Burbank Park.

Tampico wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning plating 2 runs on
2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Ryan McKenna jump-started the rally
as he stroked a one-base hit. McKenna swiped second base. One out later,
Nathaniel Lowe then lifted one out of the park for a two run home run.
Burbank threatened in the 9th but Tampico was able to put down the rally.

Luis Severino(2-4) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 7 innings.
Severino got relief help from Felix Bautista who gained credit for his 30th
save. Ken Waldichuk(0-1) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 4 runs
and 6 hits in 5 innings.

Wes Davies was reflective after the loss, 'We should have won this one, we
just made one too many mistakes. Son-of-a-gun, that added a couple more
white hairs on this noggin of mine.'
