Randal Grichuk had 2 base hits and 5 RBI as the Streator Reds defeated the
Columbus Crowd by a score of 14 to 5 at The Horseshoe.
Streator took the lead for keeps in the top of the 6th inning plating 3 runs
on 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Nick Senzel was the sparkplug when he
slapped a single. Senzel was safe on a stolen base. After another out,
Elvis Andrus then drew a walk. Rhys Hoskins was up next and he smacked a
three-run homer. Offensively, Streator was a juggernaut. They scored in 6
separate innings.
The victory went to Dylan Bundy(3-14) who went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs.
Jordan Hicks gained credit for his 3rd save. Matt Moore(0-2) suffered the
loss in relief.
'Wow. That's about all I can think to say.' said Ralph Madara following the
victory. 'If ever a team needed a win, it was us.'
