The Tampico Stogies nipped the Dyersville Jurassics 5 to 4 at Busch Stadium in
a hard fought contest.
Tampico came up with 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning with the help of 4
hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Josh Naylor who elicited a
roar from the hometown fans when he doubled bringing home two baserunners.
Tampico out-hit Dyersville for the game, 14 hits to 10.
Nick Sandlin(5-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing
no runs. Sandlin got help from Felix Bautista who was credited with his 27th
save. Ryan Tepera(2-7) was the loser in relief.
