Mike Trout cleared the bases with his grand slam as the Caracas Leones
outscored the Burbank Tigers in 10 innings 10 to 8.
The score was knotted at 8 after nine innings. Finally, Caracas prevailed in
the 10th inning. Trent Grisham opened up the scoring as he smashed a two-run
homer. Caracas had 14 hits for the night.
The win went to Penn Murfee(2-4) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. Murfee was
helped out by Liam Hendriks who recorded his 9th save. Austin Gomber(1-3)
was the loser in relief. He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 hit and no
walks.
