Ben Gamel blasted a homerun and had 5 RBI at Burbank Park as the Burbank
Tigers beat the Holland Heffalumps 11 to 2.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Gamel. He hit a single in the 3rd inning, lofted a three-run
bomb in the 5th inning and doubled which was good for two runs in the 8th
inning. Overall Burbank out-hit Holland 15 to 5.
Tyler Wells(6-5) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 6 innings. Mike
Clevinger(4-4) was the loser. He gave up 5 runs in 4 and 1/3 innings and saw
his ERA jump from 4.02 to 4.33.
