Left fielder Teoscar Hernandez smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the
Dyersville Jurassics crushed the Holland Heffalumps 12 to 2.
Hernandez was unconscious out there. While Holland pitching was serving
softballs up there for him to hit, the Holland fans were serving up some
hardball barbs when he entered the batter's box. But he just used it as fuel
for the fire. He smacked a three-run homer in the 1st inning, clubbed a solo
home run in the 4th inning, delivered a base-hit in the 5th inning and
doubled in the 7th inning. Dyersville had 10 hits for the night.
Charlie Morton(5-8) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 innings and
allowing 2 runs. Jack Flaherty gained credit for his 2nd save. Tyler
Anderson(8-3) took the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 5
runs in 4 and 1/3 innings.
'I felt great out there tonight' Hernandez said. 'I was seeing the ball
perfectly, and I was right on it with my swing.
