Hunter Greene delivered 6 solid innings and Luis Robert cracked a homer and
had 3 RBI as the Palatine Cubs defeated the Dublin Pubcrawlers 7 to 6 at
Poets Field.
Dublin was unable to recover after Palatine went ahead in the top of the 5th
inning plating an isolated run utilizing 4 base hits. Dublin threatened in
the 9th but their rally came up short.
Greene(4-1) went 6 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory. Robert Suarez was
credited with his 1st save. Shane Bieber(6-5) was charged with the loss. He
got hit hard, allowing 8 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
With this win, Palatine has a 24-33 record. They have been 7-3 lately. With
the loss, the Dublin ballclub's record is 30-27.
