Rowdy Tellez connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI as the Dallas Gibsons
bested the Dublin Pubcrawlers 5 to 4 at Poets Field.
Dublin lost it in the 4th inning when Dallas did all their damage when they
came up with 5 runs on 7 hits. The big moment was provided by Tellez who
deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he blasted a two-run home
run. Dublin had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Shane McClanahan(4-3) allowed 1 run in 5 innings, and picked up the victory.
McClanahan got help from Keegan Akin who was credited with his 1st save.
Justin Verlander(4-3) was the losing pitcher. He was touched for 3 homeruns
in his 3 innings of work.
