One run was the difference at Streator Park as the Streator Reds defeated the
Gotham Gold Gloves 4 to 3.
Streator jumped on top of Gotham in the bottom of the 3rd inning plating one
baserunner. That early run support was all that Patrick Corbin(3-6)
required. Both teams' bats went to sleep after the 3rd inning with no runs
scored after that point.
Scott Barlow preserved the game for Corbin, recording his his 7th save. Drew
Smyly(0-2) was tagged with the loss. He pitched 5 and 2/3 innings giving up
7 hits and 4 walks.
