Starling Marte had 2 base hits at Truist Park as the Dyersville Jurassics beat
the Dallas Gibsons by the count of 1 to 0.
Dallas surrendered what proved to be the only run of the contest when
Dyersville scored in the top of the 3rd inning. That scoring would be all
that was needed. Ryan Pressly pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 2nd save.
The win went to Miles Mikolas(5-2) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. Andre
Pallante(2-4) was given the loss. Dyersville now has a record of a division
leading 26-19. Dallas can't seem to snap out of their recent 'funk'. Now
they have a miserable 2-8 record over the last couple weeks.
