Bryson Stott smacked a grand slam as the Hollywood Marines defeated the Gotham
Gold Gloves in 13 innings by the score of 7 to 3 at Comerica Park.
Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings. Hollywood came out on
top in the 13th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Stott who
elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he brought the hometown folks to
their feet with a Grand Slammer. Hollywood finished with 13 hits while
Gotham ended up with 7.
Cionel Perez(1-0) allowed 1 run in 2 innings, and picked up the victory. Yusei
Kikuchi(0-2) was hit with the loss in relief. He gave up 4 runs and 2 hits
in 2/3 of an inning.
