The Gotham Gold Gloves batters feasted on the Jamaica Smoke pitching at Edsel
Stadium. The final score was a lop-sided 14 to 3.
Kolten Wong had a good evening at the plate. He lined a one-base hit bringing
in two baserunners in the 2nd inning, cleared the fences for a two-run home
run in the 4th inning and tripled plating a run in the 5th inning.
Offensively, Gotham was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.
Adrian Sampson(1-0) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory.
Wil Crowe gained credit for his 1st save. Kyle Hendricks(2-2) was tagged
with the loss.
