Nolan Arenado had 2 base hits as the Holland Heffalumps outscored the Tampico
Stogies in 11 innings 7 to 6.
The score was knotted at 5 after nine innings. Finally, Holland prevailed in
the 11th inning. After an out was recorded, David Peralta started the rally
when he drew a walk. Mookie Betts stepped into the batter's box and he
doubled driving in two more baserunners. Tampico out-hit Holland 11 to 8,
but Holland ended up with more runs.
The victory went to Jimmy Herget(3-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing 1
run. Herget got help from Tyler Rogers who earned his 2nd save. Felix
Bautista(2-2) was tagged with the loss in relief.
