Tim Anderson smacked 2 homeruns at Jurassic Park as the Dyersville Jurassics
beat the Hollywood Marines by the count of 5 to 3.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Anderson. He hit a bases-empty home run in the 1st inning,
ripped a solo home run in the 3rd inning and doubled in the 4th inning.
Marcus Stroman(1-0) got relief help from Daniel Bard who was excellent in
relief and gained credit for his 7th save.
Marco Gonzales(0-1) was the losing pitcher. He served up 3 gopher balls in 2
and 1/3 innings. With this win, Dyersville has a division leading 13-10
record. They have been 7-3 lately. With the loss, the Hollywood ballclub's
record is 14-9.
