Nestor Cortes had a strong outing and third baseman Manny Machado slammed a
homerun at Lawton Stadium as the Jamaica Smoke beat the Streator Reds 7 to
1.
Jamaica brought 6 runs across the plate in the 7th inning when they came up
with 4 base hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Corey Seager who
electrified Lawton Stadium when he emptied the bases with a Grand Slam
homerun. Jamaica had 9 hits for the game and Streator had 4.
