Cedric Mullins had 2 base hits as the Tombstone Huckleberries bested the New
York The Yanks 6 to 4 at Lateralus Parabola.
Tombstone came through with the game-winning runs in the 8th inning with 3
runs. Jose Miranda led off and he drew a walk. J.D. Martinez was a
strikeout victim, unable to help out. Tyler Naquin then drew a walk. After
another out, Evan Longoria stepped up to the plate and he launched a
three-run homer. Both teams ended up with 7 hits on the night.
The victory went to Brandon Hughes(2-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no runs.
Hughes was helped out by Alexis Diaz who recorded his 4th save. Tanner
Houck(1-1) absorbed the loss in relief.
With this win, Tombstone has a 8-10 record. They have been 5-5 lately. With
the loss, the New York ballclub's record is 11-7.
