The Hollywood Marines edged the Gotham Gold Gloves in 10 innings at Edsel
Stadium by the score of 3 to 2.
The score was tied at 1 after nine. Hollywood came out the victor in the 10th
inning. Pete Alonso opened up the scoring as he clubbed a two-run home run.
The game was a scoreless duel until the 8th inning.
The win went to John Schreiber(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Schreiber got help from Rafael Montero who earned his 1st save. John
Brebbia(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief. He gave up 3 hits and no
