Shohei Ohtani knocked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Aarlington Field as the
Aarlington Aardvarks beat the Holland Heffalumps by the count of 7 to
5.
Ohtani enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He lifted one out of the park for
a two run home run in the 1st inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in
the 2nd inning. Holland had 9 hits in the game while Aarlington had 5, but
Aarlington had the more timely hits.
Wily Peralta(4-6) got credit for the victory, pitching 5 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 3 runs. Eric Lauer recorded the save, his 5th. Zach Thompson(5-3)
was the loser. He surrendered 5 runs and 2 hits in 2/3 of an inning.
