In a close game the Gotham Gold Gloves got by the Tampico Stogies by the score
of 5 to 3.
Brett Gardner had a big day against Tampico. He doubled which was good for
two runs in the 6th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run in
the 8th inning. Gotham had 8 hits for the night.
Framber Valdez(5-7) went 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory.
Josh Fleming gained credit for his 4th save. Steve Cishek(0-2) took the loss
in relief.
