the Chicago WC White Caps by the count of 6 to 5.
Dublin scored the winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning scoring 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Mercedes keyed the rally
when he delivered a base-hit. Byron Buxton stepped up next and he bombed a
two-run dinger. Chicago WC threatened in the 9th but their rally came up
short.
The winning pitcher was Jeff Hoffman(3-1) who allowed no runs in 2/3 of an
