Blake Snell racked up an impressive total of 12 strikeouts as the Tombstone
Huckleberries bested the Hollywood Marines 9 to 0 at The O.K.
Corral.
Snell(6-8) had a strong outing. He allowed only 3 hits and 2 walks in 7
innings seeing his ERA drop from 4.27 to 4.03. Tombstone out-hit Hollywood
for the game, 10 hits to 3.
Domingo German(3-4) was charged with the loss. The Tombstone fans were
thrilled by the performance put forth by Snell, but it was clearly his
strikeouts that they enjoyed most. 'When he reached 10 strikeouts the fans
showed him their appreciation with a loud cheer.' Doug Salzwedel said
following the game.
