In a close game it was the Gotham Gold Gloves 4, the league door-mat Streator
Reds 2 at Edsel Stadium.
Gotham started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of the
first when they tallied 2 runs on 4 hits. Streator threatened in the 9th but
Gotham was able to put down the rally.
The win was credited to Cole Irvin(9-5) who went 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 2
runs. Josh Fleming recorded his 1st save. Chris Paddack(2-11) was the losing
pitcher.
With this win, Gotham has a 61-88 record. They have been 4-6 lately. With
the loss, Streator has a record of 6-4 lately, 55-94, worst in the division
overall.
