One run was the difference at Lateralus Parabola as the New York The Yanks
defeated the lifeless Gotham Gold Gloves 5 to 4.
In the 4th inning New York scored 4 runs when they came up with 3 base hits.
The highlight belonged to Yan Gomes who made the crowd happy when he brought
the hometown folks to their feet with a Grand Slammer. Gotham threatened in
the 9th but their rally came up short.
Luis Castillo(12-7) went 6 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Kyle Finnegan
earned his 8th save. Eduardo Rodriguez(8-11) was hit with the loss. He
pitched 6 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 8 hits and 2 walks.
