George Springer slammed 2 homeruns at Streator Park as the Chicago Colts beat
the Streator Reds by the count of 11 to 2.
Springer provided much of the offense. He quieted the crowd by clouting a
Grand Slam in the 3rd inning and blasted a solo shot in the 4th inning.
Chicago had 12 hits for the game and Streator had 6.
The win went to Wade Miley(10-9) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. Miley was
helped out by Ryan Yarbrough who recorded his 3rd save. Mitch Keller(2-14)
took the loss. He was knocked around, surrendering 5 runs in 2 innings.
