Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Holland Heffalumps ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless pitiful Gotham Gold Gloves. The Holland
offense rolled up a total of 12 runs!.
It was a good day for Holland thanks to Thairo Estrada. He smacked a single
which scored a run in the 1st inning, smacked a three-run homer in the 5th
inning and doubled in the 7th inning. Gotham was out-hit by Holland, 11 hits
to 5.
The winning pitcher was Zach Thompson(3-2) who allowed 2 runs in 5 and 2/3
innings. The losing pitcher was John Gant(4-4). Holland knocked him around a
bit, as he gave up 5 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings.
