Caracas scored the deciding run in the 8th inning. Connor Joe hit a
bases-empty home run. Caracas had only 4 hits for the night.
Jhoulys Chacin(1-0) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory.
Chacin got relief help from Liam Hendriks who gained credit for his 22nd
