Designated hitter Thairo Estrada smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the
sizzling Holland Heffalumps defeated the Dublin Pubcrawlers 12 to 3 at The
Heffadrome.
Estrada enjoyed a big evening at the plate. He banged out a single which
plated a run in the 1st inning, cracked a two-run shot in the 3rd inning and
smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 4th inning. For the game Holland
out-hit Dublin 17 to 7.
The win went to Nathan Eovaldi(11-5) who allowed 3 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings.
Zach Davies(6-10) suffered the loss. He allowed 4 homeruns in 2 and 1/3
innings of work.
Holland continued their winning ways, with their streak now at 7 games and
counting. 'We're running on all cylinders now', said Steve Seydell. 'I
probably shouldn't change a thing and let the guys continue to put up the
wins.'
