Shortstop Enrique Hernandez collected 2 extra-base hits and had 2 RBI and
Logan Webb carried a no-hitter into the 6th inning at The Heffadrome where
the Holland Heffalumps beat the Aarlington Aardvarks 2 to 1.
Webb(5-2) pitched well for Holland in their victory. He was reached for 3
hits and 1 walk in 6 and 1/3 innings. The right-handed Webb lost his chance
for a no-hitter when Freddy Galvis doubled with two outs in the 6th inning.
Aarlington had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
Webb got help from Diego Castillo who was credited with his 6th save. Wily
Peralta(2-4) was tagged with the loss. When questioned about the loss, Steve
Linke said, 'The fans got to see an exciting game out there tonight.
Unfortunately, we couldn't get it done this time. Next time, though, we'll
be the clubhouse with all the smiles.'
