In an great finish the Chicago Colts won in dramatic fashion over the Gotham
Gold Gloves by a score of 6 to 5 at West Side Park.
Chicago erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
scoring 4 runners on 3 hits. The biggest moment was provided by Kyle Tucker
who brought a roar from the partisan West Side Park fans when he doubled
clearing all three ducks off the pond. For the game Chicago out-hit Gotham
15 to 8.
Dylan Floro(2-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2/3 of an inning.
The loss was charged to Lou Trivino(2-1) in relief. He allowed 5 runs and 5
hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Rich Domovic was ebullient after the game, 'It's great to win a hard fought
game like that. Our guys just weren't going to be denied. And did you see
the fans - they were going wild! Yes sir, a very enjoyable win tonight!'
