Designated hitter Nate Lowe smacked 2 homeruns as the Tampico Stogies beat the
Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 3 to 2.
Tampico came up with 1 run in the 6th inning. Dyersville made it exciting in
the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
The victory went to Paul Fry(3-1) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs. Alex
Reyes got the save, his 28th. Charlie Morton(11-4) ended up with the loss.
He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 5 innings of work.
'We lose our concentration for one pitch, and we lose the game.' Jim Aldrich
said after the game. 'Maybe now these guys will listen when I say they have
to concentrate on EVERY pitch.'
