Right fielder Mike Yastrzemski knocked 2 homeruns as the Chicago Colts
defeated the New York The Yanks by a score of 13 to 5 at Lateralus
Parabola.
Yastrzemski was a one-man wrecking crew. He stroked a one-base hit in the 1st
inning, caught a hold of a bad pitch for a Grand Slam homerun in the 3rd
inning and bombed a two-run dinger in the 7th inning. Chicago had 14 hits
overall, while New York had 10.
John Means(3-10) allowed 2 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. The loss was charged to Lucas Giolito(6-8). He allowed 4 homeruns
in 2 and 2/3 innings of work.
'Actually, I didn't feel that comfortable at the plate tonight' Yastrzemski
said after the game. 'Despite that, I'm happy with the results!
