Harold Ramirez rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Dublin Pubcrawlers
defeated the slumping Columbus Crowd by a score of 10 to 8 at The
Horseshoe.
Ramirez was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He smashed a two-run homer in the 2nd
inning, ripped a solo home run in the 4th inning and doubled in the 7th
inning. Columbus had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
The win went to Dillon Tate(6-2) who allowed 1 run in 1 and 2/3 innings. Tate
got relief help from Jarlin Garcia who gained credit for his 8th save. Ryan
Weathers(1-2) was the loser in relief. He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 5 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
'Anytime you lose it hurts,' said Frank Lopeman 'but it's losing the close
ones that really hurt.'
