Buster Posey blasted 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Blake Treinen delivered 3
solid innings at Edsel Stadium where the dominant Jamaica Smoke beat the
Gotham Gold Gloves 7 to 4.
Posey was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He lifted one out of the park for a
two run home run in the 1st inning and blasted a two-run home run in the 5th
inning. Jamaica finished with 8 hits while Gotham ended up with 5.
The winning pitcher was Triston McKenzie(7-0) who allowed 4 runs in 5 innings.
Nick Pivetta(3-5) absorbed the loss. He pitched 5 innings allowing 5 hits
