Aaron Judge knocked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the incredible Jamaica Smoke
defeated the Gotham Gold Gloves by the score of 9 to 5 at Edsel
Stadium.
Judge provided much of the offense. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the
5th inning, bombed a two-run dinger in the 6th inning and stroked a one-base
hit knocking in a run in the 8th inning. Jamaica banged out 10 hits on the
night.
The victory went to Nestor Cortes(4-2) who went 2 and 1/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Patrick Sandoval(2-6) was given the loss in relief. He pitched 1 and
1/3 innings and surrendered 1 hit and 2 walks.
