In a close game the Streator Reds got by the Gotham Gold Gloves by the score
of 4 to 2.
Streator brought 3 runs across the plate in the 4th inning when they came up
with 4 base hits. The key at-bat was by Elvis Andrus who thrilled the crowd
when he doubled plating two runs. Streator out-hit Gotham for the game, 9
hits to 3.
The win went to Ian Anderson(5-3) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings. Anderson
got help from Scott Barlow who earned his 1st save. Nick Pivetta(3-4) was
the losing pitcher.
