First baseman Joey Votto slammed a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Dublin
Pubcrawlers beat the Chicago WC White Caps by a score of 8 to 5.
It was a good day for Dublin thanks to Votto. He doubled plating a run in the
1st inning, blasted a two-run home run in the 3rd inning and doubled in the
5th inning. Dublin simply wore out the Chicago WC pitching staff, scoring in
6 different innings.
Caleb Smith(3-2) went 6 and 2/3 innings allowing 3 runs for the win. Smith was
helped out by Jarlin Garcia who recorded his 4th save. Jose Berrios(7-7) was
given the loss. He was touched for 9 hits and 2 walks in 6 innings.
