separated the combatants at game's end. The streaking Holland Heffalumps won
by the slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
The score was tied at 3 after nine. Holland won it in the 11th inning. Andrew
McCutchen opened up the scoring as he blasted a two-run home run. Holland
finished with 8 hits in the victory.
Erik Swanson(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Jose Alvarez got the save, his 3rd. Jordan Romano(2-2) was hit with the loss
in relief. Holland scored big getting 3 runs off him in 2 innings.
Holland continued their winning ways, seemingly unable to lose during this
stretch.
