Shortstop Elvis Andrus had 2 base hits at Streator Park as the Streator Reds
beat the Chicago Colts by the count of 5 to 4.
Daniel Hudson(1-0) was brilliant in relief and registered the victory. He
surrendered only 1 hit and no walks in 2 innings. Chicago threatened in the
9th but Streator was able to put down the rally.
Adbert Alzolay earned his 2nd save. Dominic Leone(0-1) was given the loss in
relief. When questioned about the loss, Rich Domovic said, 'The fans got to
see an exciting game out there tonight. Unfortunately, we couldn't get it
done this time. Next time, though, we'll be the clubhouse with all the
smiles.'
