bested the Dublin Pubcrawlers 6 to 5 at Chase Field.
Alex Wood(5-3) earned his pay with a solid performance for Jamaica. He was
reached for 9 hits and no walks in 6 innings. Wood struckout 8 Dublin
batters. Dublin had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.
Blake Treinen preserved the game for Wood, recording his his 10th save. Shane
Bieber(2-2) was the loser. He served up 4 homeruns in his 8 innings.
Adam Smith was in a contemplative mood after the tough loss, 'It is really
hard to lose this kind of a game. It may seem weird to some, but it is
easier to take the occasional blow-out loss. It is the ones that just barely
