Mitch Haniger launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Austin Adams went 3 strong
innings as the streaking Holland Heffalumps topped the Streator Reds by a
score of 5 to 3 at The Heffadrome.
Haniger had a big evening at the plate. He hit a bases-empty home run in the
1st inning, smacked a single in the 3rd inning and smashed a two-run homer in
the 5th inning. Holland had 7 hits for the game and Streator had 3.
The victory went to Adams(2-1) who went 3 innings, allowing no runs. Dallas
Keuchel(3-5) was the loser. He surrendered 5 runs and 5 hits in 6 and 2/3
innings.
