Ketel Marte jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI and Jose Urquidy went
7 solid innings as the Tampico Stogies bested the Chicago Colts 2 to 1 at
Busch Stadium.
Chicago was unable to recover after Tampico went ahead in the 2nd inning
scoring one runner. Marte smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly'. Chicago
threatened in the 9th but Tampico was able to put down the rally.
Urquidy(3-2) went 7 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Alex Reyes was
credited with his 17th save. Ryan Yarbrough(3-3) was charged with the loss.
Mike Aldrich was in a talkative mood in the clubhouse, 'Great game! If only we
could win all of the close ones - wouldn't that be nice! Since that's not
going to happen, I think I'll savor this one for a little while.'
