Palatine started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first with 3 runs on 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Alcides Escobar
got things going when he lashed a single. Robert followed and he doubled.
Hunter Renfroe then would ground out resulting in a run. Ryan Zimmerman
followed next and he smashed a two-run homer. That was all the offense they
were to need. Palatine finished with 13 hits while Dublin ended up with 6.
The winning pitcher was Zach Plesac(2-5) who allowed 2 runs in 8 innings. Rich
Hill(1-3) ended up with the loss. He surrendered 4 runs and 7 hits in 4 and
2/3 innings.
